House of the Justified Sinners – a ragtag band of farmington-based grace-junkies of which I am a part – is hosting a series of lectures entitled “Don’t Panic: A Guide to Jesus for Sinners.” In the six-week series we hope to reorient the evangelical culture’s misunderstanding about Jesus’ mission on earth. We have some claims to make about his life, death, and resurrection that might come as quite a shock – even to those who have spent their entire lives in a pew.
I hope that you will join me as I team up with my old friend Brett Shelton of Plank Road Films to produce this as a series of videos that will be uploaded weekly beginning Sunday June 28. The videos will have a bit of extra footage and will be intended for our audience to use and share in any way they might find useful to communicate the gospel to weary sinners (you can burn it on DVDs if you want, although we hope you have already abandoned that technology for Blu-Ray . . . quality matters).
